I’ve been recently rethinking my own definition of enough. When I did the reverse math after setting aside my emergency fund and annual retirement saving contributions, I looked at my actual monthly needs plus a little extra so I can say yes to the fun things. The number I landed on was lower than I expected. That realization was a turning point and it’s been freeing to realize that my version of success doesn’t have to be endless growth.
