Love ‘enough is better than growth.’ Antithetical to philosophy of most founders, VC and corporations. So good to hear about Jason Freeman again- have always appreciated how he marches to the beat of his own band.

Thanks for taking the time to read this, Katrina!

If you have the courage to be truly yourself - against all odds and what people will think of you - it's probably going to be the best form of freedom you could ever achieve.

I guess I know something about it. :)

On the other hand, when your company achieves $100M+ in annual revenue, I guess certain choices become easier - even though, to reach that level, surely needed effort and tough decisions.

Knowing what “enough” looks like is probably harder than growing.

There’s always someone nearby making more money and looking exhausted in a nicer car, office, or home.

Contentment...what does that feel like? :)

Amazing! And never thought about caps for customer $$$ (I mean, I’m nowhere near a place where thinking about that would make any kind of sense), but I DO see your point now that you mention it—dad’s health insurance brokerage (ie, dad + mom + a computer) went virtually outta business when we lost the biggest client. That’s how big that one fish was, and losing that account kinda DID break the whole thing.
