As usual, Melissa, your writing is refreshing, relatable and practical. Claude's value, for me, is that you can count on it to break through inertia. Even if my prompt is sloppy and its response is slop, it gets me into the process and out of "procrastination station."
Thank you, Renita! AI is very good at helping me put my random thoughts into succinct ideas, and when I'm stuck at a sentence structure, it gives me options to articulate it better. I've probably cut down writing time by at least half, without needing to go back and forth with my COO/editor and interrupting them.
in real life, we always have a trusted person we respect. And we always say, I've got a problem and want you to walk through it with me. Start there and use AI the same way. (My preference is Claude. I don't use ChatGPT) Treat AI as your sounding board and use it to push back. Because absolutely NOBODY can see any issue from all sides. Just be aware, it DOES make mistakes. Our job is to learn and discern them.
I went to two self development retreats this year and gave it all my notes and. journal entries. The accidental outcome of that was it became my personal Yoda to analyze my thoughts, see patterns, and help me process my entire burn out experience. Since I could talk to it privately, I was able to be more open about the challenges I was having. Whereas in real life, I would've been embarrassed to share with a person. I think my friend is building a set of AI prompts that helps create the AI future you, so it can hold you accountable for the person you want to become, and can give you advice on how to get there. You're right, this use case is outrageous. I've also started using it for dream analysis...THAT has been insane. Since it knows me from my journal entries, it's been able to link dreams to my real life, and categorize themes that I've been dreaming about.
Never thought of dream analysis. However, I have been blown away by health, nutrition and lifestyle info. Best wishes to you. Burnout is tough, and getting back on keel is definitely not easy. Tiny observation -- the whole embarassment thing is entirely in our heads. We women have absolutely NOTHING to be embarassed or shamed about. You are way stronger than you think.

Wait until you move from copywriting assistance to a trusted colleague and partner! Mindblowing.
How are you using AI for that?
